Microneedling Radiofrequency
Overview :
Radiofrequency (RF) skin tightening treatment comes in two types: non-ablative, such as Endymed 3DRF, and another known as RF Microneedling or Microneedling RF (MNRF). Endymed 3DRF effectively tightens the skin by using energy waves to heat the deeper layer of the skin, stimulating collagen remodeling for increased firmness and smoothness. As people age, they may notice sagging skin and wrinkles. Microneedling RF offers an effective solution to address early aging concerns, providing a fresh appearance with fewer wrinkles and fine lines.
How to Prepare for Microneedling Radio Frequency:
RF Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure that combines tiny needles and radiofrequency for skin rejuvenation. This less invasive and time-efficient treatment promotes new skin growth, addressing issues like acne scars, injury or surgery scars, wrinkles, fine lines, stretch marks, hyperpigmentation, and sagging skin. Here’s how to prepare for this procedure:
- RF Microneedling takes 10 to 20 minutes, allowing you to resume your routine afterward.
- During your initial appointment, the doctor will discuss your medical history and treatment goals.
- Photos of your face will be taken to determine the most suitable technique for your skin condition and scars.
- Avoid alcohol and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines before treatment to prevent bruising.
- Steer clear of products containing salicylic acid.
- Inform your doctor about any blood-thinning medications.
- If you have acne breakouts, oral antibiotics may be prescribed before the treatment.
- For those with a history of cold sores, antiviral medicines may be recommended.
- Avoid shaving on the treatment day.
- Refrain from waxing, depilatory creams, or electrolysis a week before treatment.
- Avoid IPL or laser procedures for at least 2 weeks before RF microneedling.
- Use sun protection to prevent sunburn.
- Avoid consuming a heavy meal, fatty foods, or caffeine a few hours before the treatment.
- Before RF microneedling begins, your face will be cleaned with alcohol to prevent infection.
- A topical or local anesthetic cream will be applied to the treatment area to reduce pain during the procedure.
